    no its not legal and they are not supposed to do that ,several of the insurance company’s have got in big trouble for doing this your not liable for the debt,and id let them know that ,let them take you to court a judge will rule in your favor on this one,and they,ll have to pay cost plus a lot of other things also and they know it,your in the right on this one,by law they cant do this and it was very dumb on there behalf to try it,good luck with it.

    Nope. If you never make a payment, then coverage never goes into force.

    You’ll have to contest it with collections.

    No, there is no agreement without your signature and payment.

    They are using the collection agency to try to bully you into paying. Tell the collection agency the situation and let them know they are free to take you to court if they wish because you are confident that the law is firmly on your side.

    You may even want to contact Farmers again and tell them that if they don’t call off the dogs you will report them to the Better Business Bureau and the State Insurance Regulator in your state.

    Hopefully, they will back down. It is such a shame that people act this way in their lust for profit. Hang in there.
