   If you are prior or current military, then get USAA out of San Antonio. No insurance company in the world can give you better rates. If not, then Progressive is good. If the car is financed, try to talk the lender into $1,000 deductible. It will be a lot cheaper. If you do not want or need comprehensive and collision coverage, then get the minimum liability coverage required by you state. Assuming you are not wealthy and/or own property, then people at you age have nothing to lose in a law suit anyway.

   If you are a first time driver then you can expect prices to be a premium for the next 5+ years, but you can save a bit of money here and there still, that is by making sure that you have a car which won’t make that premium price even higher, when choosing a car think about how much the insurance will cost you and think to yourself “the smaller the better” this is true when it comes to getting yourself cheap insurance automatically through your car.

   Another way to bring down that price is by comparing insurance companies prices, this can easily be done through a number of different websites that provide this service these days so you don’t need to worry there.
