is this a joke?? Why would you even care, you just got a car more expensive than many peoples first three or four cars prices added together. AS YOUR FIRST CAR. Spoiled as hell

” the car was only like 55 grand i believe.”

It varies from company to company. One thing is for sure though, a teenage boy in an expensive car will cost a lot to insure. Your best bet is to get on you parents plan. I doubt you could afford to get insurance on your own.

We just went through that with my daughter. According to my insurance agent, the rule of thumb, for South Texas anyway, is $190 – $210 per month to add a youthful driver to a family policy.

In our case, she had Driver’s training, academic discounts, her mom and I have excellent driving records and she took a seminar they suggested. We ended up not paying anywhere near that. So, it’s going to vary, but check with your agent for discounts.

your insurance will skyrocketing! no jokes. here why…

    1) youre only 16 and people who young are likely to have their insurance high because they are totally new and young to driving and in most cases they are likely to get in an accident which cost more money to repair the damages between you and the other drivers. and the the money for your car insurance is to “keep for potential collision and when happen they use the money that you paid but they paid the rest of it. after that you pay more”

your car is truly expensive because of an 08 land rover lr3

    3) again, youre 16, be safe while driving.. for people sake!

depending on the company and the state in which you live adding a youthful drive (one without at least three years driving experience ) can double the amount of your insurance policy. Some companies rate the drivers per vehicles on the policy and whether the youthful drive is primary ( has a car to drive everyday) or occasional ( one vehicle in the household and more than one driver) Best advise talk to your agent or the customer service department for quote on that change.
