my bf had an accident while driving a company van, will it only affect his company’s insurance policy or his as well? he got a ticket for failure to clean off windshield and the other car was a write off. We’re in Northern Ontario, Canada

I can tell you in the USA it wouldn’t be affected. Here Insurance travels with the Vehicle..not the driver…so for example..if you let your friend drive your car and they have an accident..it’s your insurance that covers it..not your friends. That is of course, if you HAVE insurance. If you don’t then it WOULD transfer and be the drivers insurance to cover the accident.
